25 July 2025 – A Friday Afternoon of Kindness and Transformation
On a warm Friday afternoon, 11 dedicated staff from Apar Technologies set aside their busy schedules to bring comfort, cleanliness, and hope to two needy families in Singapore through our Home Refresh Programme.
These families, identified by our faithful partner Fei Yue Community, have been facing significant challenges—financial struggles compounded by physical health concerns and emotional hardships. A clean and organised living space may seem like a small thing, but for these households, it is a powerful first step toward healing, dignity, and stability.
Armed with cleaning tools, determination, and big hearts, the volunteers rolled up their sleeves—scrubbing, sweeping, and tidying every corner. Beyond the physical refresh, their friendly conversations and warm presence reminded the families that they are not forgotten.
The afternoon concluded with a heartfelt debrief session, where Apar Technologies staff reflected on the experience. Many shared how refreshing it was to step away from the fast-paced demands of city life and reconnect with values of kindness, empathy, and community care. What many of us take for granted—cleanliness, personal hygiene, and a safe living environment—can be a daily struggle for families in distress.

This collaboration with Apar Technologies is a beautiful reminder that when we come together, even small acts of service can make a big difference. There are still many in our midst who need a helping hand. Together, we can continue to spread hope and transform lives—one home at a time.
