HOPE for Seniors

Since 2005, HOPE worldwide Singapore remains steadfast in its commitment to help the aged poor, needy and socially isolated through HOPE for Seniors programme pillar.
We endeavour to support our nation’s efforts as it gears up for the increase in senior population, or citizens aged 65 and above. The ageing population is estimated to reach 900,000 by 2030 from merely 270,000 in 2005.
We engage seniors through various community outreach programmes, befriending opportunities, social interactions, fall risk reduction programme, provision of clean and safe living environment, and other immediate assistance.
We also empower their lives through Movie Therapy® active ageing and mental wellness workshops.
Our Current HOPE for Seniors Initiatives:
- Savvy Seniors (Digital Education)
- Health Education for Seniors
- Home Refresh (Home Cleaning and Decluttering)
- Befriending and Outing
- Essential Aid
We deeply appreciate our partnership with various stakeholders for supporting our work through HOPE for Seniors: Central Christian Church, Johnson & Johnson, North East Community Development Council, various senior activity centres (SACs), and other corporates, volunteer groups and social service organisations.
