Last Thursday, 10 dedicated volunteers from Manulife partnered with HOPE worldwide Singapore to pack and distribute essential aid to 54 families living in the Punggol Rental Flats Community.
These households consist of seniors living alone and low-income families with school-going children — many of whom struggle to meet basic needs.
Manulife volunteers helped prepare grocery packs and personally delivered them door-to-door, offering not just food essentials but also warmth, encouragement, and human connection. We are deeply grateful for their generosity in sponsoring both the groceries and the manpower for this outreach.
Under our Samaritans Pillar, and in alignment with UN SDG 2: Zero Hunger, HOPE worldwide Singapore remains committed to supporting vulnerable families through essential aid, befriending, and home decluttering services.
