On 1 & 15 November, our Silvers community came together for a meaningful 2-day Mental Wellness Workshop focused on empowering seniors to care for their emotional, mental, and cognitive well-being.

Across the sessions, seniors learned practical tools on stress management, mindfulness, self-care, and empathy, creating a supportive space to better understand their emotions and connect with one another.

The highlight for many was the hands-on segment under “Active Minds, Agile Hands”, where seniors engaged in fun and stimulating activities — from fixing wooden puzzles and cup stacking to catching ping pong balls with a paper cup using one hand, aiming ping pong balls into egg cartons and even Pictionary! Laughter filled the room as our seniors challenged themselves and celebrated each small success together.

A big thank you to Nicole Chiang and her passionate volunteer team from Simply Well Project, whose facilitation, heart, and dedication made this workshop enriching and memorable.
