SENIOR PROGRAMMES
in Toa Payoh
On the 2nd Saturday of every
month, from 3 pm to 5 pm, the void deck of Blk 170 in Toa Payoh
is always filled with laughter and joy. This is the result of volunteers
from Central Christian Church serving the elderly with warm sharing
and the many interactive games, songs and performances.
Volunteers
with this joint HOPE worldwide (Singapore) and Central Christian
Church project have given these remarks. “We enjoy also serving
them by cleaning their apartments. They have become just like our
grandparents and our friends. We enjoy chatting about anything and
everything as if we are one big family.”
