| Skill Empowerment |

|
The HOPE-AIN Skill Training Fund, a
combined effort of HOPE worldwide Singapore and AIN Society,
an Islamic-faith based VWO, was launched in April 2006 in
order to help needy families and out-of-school youths via
business seed loans, educational bursaries/fund, and emergency
funds. Since then, over 7 students and 19 families have
been helped. In addition, National University of Singapore
(NUS) student volunteers from NVAC have been teaching an
8-10 week semester of basic computer skills training for
youths at risk and active seniors.
