EMC Raises Fund for HOPE worldwide (Singapore) in Charity Event |

Since June 2008, EMC has been working with HOPE worldwide (Singapore) by volunteering in our community outreach programmes for children: the 'Nurture Programme' organised jointly with Central Community Development Council and the Central Christian Church, and with the Boy's town.
In conjunction with Asia's first-ever milestone Formula OneTM night race that was held in Singapore, EMC organized the EMC "Need for Speed" Go-Kart Power Race and Charity Cocktail 2008 on 24 September 2008 for its clients and employees. EMC is the proud official worldwide sponsor of the Toyota Formula OneTM Team. EMC also graciously extended an invitation to 26 youths from the Boys Town and “Nurture Programme” and the HwwS staff and volunteers.
Renowned Toyota F1 drivers, 4th place Singapore Formula OneTM winner, Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli, were at the event to grace the Charity Auction and Cocktail. It was truly a treat for the youths to meet Jarno and Timo! The boys from Boys Town ended the event in a great way with a song performance and a dance performance by “Versaillez.”
EMC raised $10K through the auction of Toyota F1 Memorabilia in support of HOPE worldwide (Singapore).
