The atmosphere was electrifying at VivoCity’s main entrance on 24th July 2009! Many Liverpool FC fans had gathered to meet their favourite players. A special bunch of youth was most eagerly anticipating this event, as they represented the beneficiaries of the partnership between HOPE worldwide Singapore, adidas and Liverpool FC. Following their five countries SEA partnership launch on July 10, adidas further showed their great support for needy youth by organizing the donation of three originally signed Liverpool FC jerseys for fundraising. These were presented to Mrs. Patrice Lee of HOPE worldwide Singapore at the event. In his remarks to the media and fans, Mr Binger expressed adidas’ strong commitment to its partnership with HOPE worldwide and thanked the Liverpool FC for helping the cause of deserving youth through this fundraising effort.

Representing four HOPE for Youth programmes, the boys were thrilled to each receive a full set of football jerseys and soccer boots from adidas. They also got to meet the players - Albert Riera, Emiliano Insua, Martin Kelly and Dirk Kuyt and receive autographed mini soccer balls. It was certainly a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
