The Red Cross Home for the Disabled serves more than 70 residents, aged between 9 to 55 years old. Many residents suffer from mental disabilities due to illness. As a result, they are bed-ridden and unable to communicate.

Volunteers with HOPE worldwide (Singapore) and Central Christian Church from the North area have been regularly serving the residents at the Red Cross Home for the Disabled since Feb 2007.

The compassionate volunteers are grateful for the opportunity to befriend the residents and help to make a difference in their lives. The volunteers help the residents do their exercises, clean their living areas, fold their clothes, feed them, cut their nails, and also give them massages.
