ABOUT US

HOPE worldwide (Singapore) is a faith-based charity founded in Singapore in 1998. HOPE worldwide (Singapore) is an affiliate of HOPE worldwide, an international charity. Since its inception in 1998, community volunteerism was a key focus of HOPE worldwide (Singapore)'s many volunteers who participated annually in blood donation drives, visitation to various homes, and in Com Chest's annual Festive Care & Share Christmas Donation Drive, actively raising funds benefiting over 50 charities.

Starting in Nov 2001, HOPE worldwide (Singapore) became a Family Life Ambassador champion. Partnering with the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), HOPE worldwide (Singapore) started Family Life Education Centres (FLEC) in primary schools. Later, in July 2003 HOPE
worldwide (Singapore) branched into setting up Family Life Centres (FLC) in 6 schools, providing family life education (FLE) resources to parents, students, teachers and other school staff in a MCYS initiated programme called School Family Education programme (SFE).

Since 1998, HOPE worldwide (Singapore) has been growing from being predominantly a volunteer organization to being a family life and health education provider and a catalyst for local and global volunteerism work with seniors, youth, and children.
